Need Your Vote on the Final Book Cover

Sarah SoonWriting

Appreciate all the helpful feedback on the book cover! We had a three-way tie. The winners were: the stairs close up, the stairs farther away, and the boat.

We need another vote, but this time, I included the book title and author name. Thanks to author Mary Felkins for pointing out that the pictures needed space for the book title and my name. (Seemed obvious, didn’t it, but I forgot to add.)

I could only use one of the pictures you voted on, since the others didn’t work once I added the name and title. But I found similar photos. And I included an image of the bell tower from a higher view that my husband liked.

Some of you commented they didn’t like seeing people on the steps. Well, your voices were heard! I got one without people.

Also, I changed the name of the short story to “Rescue in Amalfi” since it looked better on the cover. And I preferred this title, actually.

I altered the survey method because the survey app didn’t allow me to upload all the cover. But I provided a link for you to email your vote, or you can share in Comments.

Email or Share in Comments the cover you like best.

  • Cover A is of the whole cathedral.
  • Cover B is the view of the cathedral’s bell tower.
  • Cover C is the small boat near the shoreline.
  • Cover D is the closeup of the cathedral stairs (no people).

NOTE:

  • If you are stuck between two covers, list both.
  • Ignore the Book Brush lines and logo on the covers. They’ll get removed and the cover refined when I purchase the winner.

I will announce the winner on October 10th when I email the short story to you. Yea!
